WashiGang News: Calligraphy Workshop
Hi Gang!!!
Did you know we have a WashiGang workshop coming up soon?
Led by the talented Ali from Creative Inking, the Introduction to Brush Pen Calligraphy workshop is a great starting place for using brush pens! This workshop was so popular last time, we had to do another one! It's a really approachable workshop for beginners, with lots of tips and techniques, including lettering guides! Our participants could even see a difference in their technique by the end of the workshop. Join us for our Introduction to Brush Pen Calligraphy workshop on the 17th of April, from 10am-12pm, at WashiGang! We only have a few spots left!!!
To get you inspired with some of our fave brush pen products, we've made a pen test using our Artline Decorite Metallic Brush Marker Pens. These pens are really fun to use! The Decorite Metallic Brush Markers have a fast ink flow, with a medium-firm flexible tip. We love the wide variety in bold-fine lines that you can create using these pens. They come in a range of rich colours and also have a pretty shimmer!
If you'd like to practice at home, here are a few workbooks and good brush pens for beginners that we have available in the shop:

1. Hand-Lettering Guide Book by Megan Wells
2. Kelly Creates Large Brush Lettering Workbook: Bouncy
